Noah David Dunbar was born on Thursday, August 14, 2003, at about 6pm, weighing 7 lb 14 oz, stretching out at 20 3/4", announcing his arrival rather loudly for a few minutes.

He did very well for a couple of hours, then started breathing too rapidly, so he had to stay in the hospital for a few days. It turned out to be fluid in the lungs (because of being born so quickly), and no infection, so it was just a matter of time and a bit of humid oxygen for his recovery.

During the day on Saturday, he recovered completely, and on Sunday, the nurses began the process of disconnecting him, and on Monday, he came home, much to the delight of his siblings (and parents!).

Noah was named after a rather famous man who lived a long time ago. The original Noah (like the rest of us) was not perfect, but he did do some pretty extraordinary things. His life could be summed up by Genesis 6:8, which says "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord".
